Quad Cities Senior Photographer | Rockridge High School Senior | Sneak Peeks

Let me introduce you to this fabulous Rockridge High School Senior!  Margo was an absolute delight to work with.  It seems surreal to me to think she’s old enough to have her senior portraits taken as her mom was my cheerleading coach when I was in high school!  And now here we are, and I’m photographing her senior pictures!  It seems crazy that time can pass by so quickly, but it’s so wonderful at the same time!

I worked with Margo and her mom to find out a bit about her style and what kind of look she wanted.  When they sent over a few pictures of her outfits, messaged me some ideas she was thinking for a few setups, and then informed me she played piano…well…I couldn’t have been more excited!  Her style is right on point for fabulous senior portraits!  I love how she incorporated some softer looks along with the more edgy/urban look.  It’s such a fun way to get a wide variety of images in your gallery!

I knew Margo and her mom would be a lot of fun to work with, but little did I know just how much fun!  A few of Margo’s setups featured some confetti, bubbles, balloons, and a piano!  AWESOME!  I absolutely love it when seniors want to incorporate their style and attitude into the senior portraits.  It’s a reflection of who they are at this very point in life.  It was so much fun capturing her vision of what she was hoping for alongside my photography style to create some really incredible shots!

Once we wrapped up Margo’s outdoor senior session in Moline, we headed over to a location in Bettendorf with the most stunning piano for some indoor portraits.  I was overjoyed to do a few very moody type shots in black and white as those are some of the most emotion filled portraits.  Since Margo is an incredible musician, adding in that emotion was very easy!  And might I add, this is definitely the first time I’ve been taking senior portraits and got to listen to the most incredible piano playing while doing so!  She’s amazing and plays with such ease and grace!  It’s really beautiful to watch.

So with all of that being said, please take a look through some of my absolute favorites from her senior portraits session.
