Quad Cities Newborn Photographer | Baby Freya

Baby Freya was an absolute delight to work with for her newborn session at just 6 days new!  Her mom and I started working together about a month or two before she was born preparing all the fun details of her session.  I was beyond excited when she informed me she already knew she was having a baby girl when we first starting chatting!  As many of you know, I’m a mom of two boys, so getting to photograph girls is always so much fun!  I LOVE pink, and all the headbands, and lace materials to compliment the delicacy of newborn baby girls.

When I arrived at their home for the session, my first look at Freya and I knew she would be perfect for her session!  She was sound asleep in her mom’s arms, and oh my goodness…all that hair!  She’s absolutely adorable and perfect in every way!

We managed to get several great shots of Freya and her mom together, the awesome macro shots of all the ever-changing newborn features (hands, eyelashes, ears, toes), and then individual shots of Freya by herself.  We did several different setups to create a nice variety of images in her gallery.

Please take a look below at some of my favorites from this session…I’m certain you will enjoy them as much as I do!

I just love when moms jump in on a few pictures!  Simply Stunning!

She’s so peaceful, and looks so adorable in PINK!

6 days new and already making eye contact!

I am absolutely in love with macro shots.  I love how it documents all the incredible details that will be changing so quickly!AOP1
