Because it’s getting so much closer to nicer weather and those gorgeous outdoor family sessions, I thought I’d get back to blogging all of the sessions from last fall. I love to look back at these and swoon over the magical sunset light coming through the trees creating that sparkly effect. I’m so excited for spring to actually be here so we can get that warm golden light again! I think the hardest part about being a Quad Cities Family photographer is waiting for the nice weather to get here. As much as I LOVE studio work, outdoor portraits are simply some of my favorites.
The D Family was a blast to work with. These girls….ADORABLE! They make such a great looking family. I had such a hard time narrowing down their gallery to final best because they had so many cute poses and expressions.
We did this session at my parent’s farm which is where I do several sessions every year. I love the rural setting, the privacy, and the pretty light as it comes through the trees.
With all my family sessions, we do several different family poses, the kids individually, the kids with each parent, and the kids together. I like to offer you a wide variety of options to select from, but also the opportunity to create beautiful wall displays of all the different portraits. And of course we have to have an updated portrait of Mom and Dad as a couple!
Check out a few of my favorites from this session.
