There’s something really special about being a Quad Cities maternity photographer.  These sessions are so neat, especially when it’s with first time parents.  The excitement and glow between the couple is so sweet and tender, and I just love the emotion behind these sessions.

This couple has selected my Grow With Me Package to capture their little one’s major milestones over the course of a year! They had their maternity session and at the end of July, they will be celebrating their brand new baby with a newborn session.  Once the baby is 6 months old and then again at one year, we’ll do more sessions to capture their incredible milestones.  At the end of the one year, they will receive the most stunning album that will encompass the baby’s first year of life.  It’s super exciting!

Expecting moms always ask me what to wear for their session.  I love doing two different outfits.  One being a long maxi dress. These are super comfy, and they really create that soft side that represents the glowing side of pregnancy.  The other outfit choice is something more casual.  Maybe capris or jeans with a snug, solid color shirt to accentuate that adorable baby bump!  Both of these outfits photograph really well, and they also provide us the capability of being able to do a wide variety of poses.  This helps to create a diversified gallery of images for you to showoff this really exciting time to remember.

I really loved working with this couple for many reasons, and the best part being their relaxed personalities.  This couple was so easy going.  I love seeing expecting parents like this as it’s a great sign that they are going to make amazing parents!  They were super easy to pose, and they did such a great job in selecting their outfits.  They fit the locations perfectly!  I’m really excited about the way these turned out.
