Quad Cities Newborn Photographer – job description:  Snuggle babies for several hours and mold them into comfortable and natural positions to create stunning portraits as heirlooms for families to treasure a lifetime.  Yes, this is my so called ‘job title’ and I’m SOOO in love with it!  It’s such a magical feeling to produce timeless newborn portraits for families to look back on and smile at each time they see them.  I love the conversations that stem from looking at these for years and years to come…remember his tiny toes, and those eyelashes, and and his button nose!  These are the tiny details that only last such a short amount of time.  This is what I love to capture for you so you can look back and reminisce on these heartwarming details.

This little guy was just 5 days old for his session, and he was such a good baby.  He slept almost his entire session only waking to eat a couple times, and then he’d fall right back asleep and get cozy for his session.  As you all know, I love the timeless style of newborn photography.  It accentuates their features of what you want to remember for years to come.

We started out the session with all the different family shots, and we then moved into the little one by himself.  We did a few different setups to offer a wide variety in his gallery.  As I mentioned above, he slept so peacefully during his session.  The studio was set to about 83 degrees, so it kept him nice and snuggly and in that deep sleep the entire 3 hours of the session.  He was truly a dream baby to work with, and I’m looking so forward to working with him and his family for the remainder of his sessions.  He is part of my Grow With Me Plan, and then his parents selected a couple extra sessions as well to capture him every few months of his first year.  It’s such an honor when clients put all their trust in me to capture these priceless moments of their children as they grow and take on new milestones.  I truly appreciate it very much, and thank you so much to this family for selecting Amanda Oakes Photography!  It means the world to me!
