Check out this sweet 18 day old, newborn baby girl on the blog today!  This little sweetheart is a little older than my typical newborns that come into the studio, but when her mom had called, I just knew we had to get her in.  Every baby and their parents deserve newborn pictures to savor this very special time by.

Sometimes as babies get older, they don’t curl up quite as nice as a new baby will as they are growing and stretching out.  This little girl was the exception to the rule!  She did such an amazing job at curling up and molding into the poses I shaped her in.  She slept like a dream, too!  She was so good, and I’m so glad we were able to capture these for this very nice family.

I went with my traditional, classic look for these images with my color palette selection.  I just love the soft look and soft colors for a baby.  They are new, and delicate, and these colors compliment them so well!  These are images that can hang on this family’s wall for years to come and never look dated.

Another thing that’s always of importance in my setups is to capture the baby’s details.  Everything from their eyelashes, to toes, to hands, to sweet little lips!  These are the features that change so quickly, and capturing them in photographs is the most amazing way to preserve them.
