Wow! Where do I even begin with this post. Let’s start with a HUGE Thank You! I can’t believe it’s been 2.5 years since I started this photography journey and what an incredible experience. When I first started this business, I honestly thought of it as more of a hobby. I had decided to make the leap from juggling the stressful schedule as a working mom to a stay at home mom and raise my kiddos, and this business was my outlet to life outside of diapers, baby food, and Sesame Street!
Everything started off small…just a few sessions here and there and then the business grew, and I nurtured it with more love and attention, and so it grew a whole lot more. I was shocked, humbled, and excited that everything was going in the right direction of where I had dreamed it could be. 2015 was incredible and stands as the turning point in taking everything from a part-time/hobby to a full service studio! We built a brand new studio here in our home that I’m extremely proud of. I’m now able to offer clients a relaxing and inviting space for their sessions all year long and especially during these cold winter months here in the midwest. The business was completely restructured to make it full service, customer service driven, offer the best quality products in the industry, and provide the most incredible experience I could possibly offer to my clients. I truly pride myself in providing you something you’ve never had before when it comes to a photography session.
The thing I absolutely love the most about doing all of this is the relationships you build with all the different families at so many different points in their lives. I get the amazing opportunity to photograph new families with their brand new baby, more established families, the most gorgeous weddings, generations within one family tree, stunning seniors, and the most adorable kiddos you’ll ever meet. And with each of these, they all hold a special place in my heart from the stories we’ve shared, the laughs we’ve had together, and the bonds we’ve formed. We get to know each other from the very beginning of the process in booking so that when we actually meet for our session, it feels like we’re old friends hanging out! It’s truly the most humbling and heart warming “job” I think their is, and I couldn’t be happier.
So with all of these things being said, I truly thank you with everything I have for selecting me to be your photographer here in the Quad Cities. Thank you for an amazing 2015, and I look forward to working with all my previous clients and future clients here in 2016! <3 <3 <3
