Check out these senior portraits from this Moline High School Senior! She did an amazing job during her session last night.
Curious how the process works? Well, first we determine just the right location to fit the senior’s style. After we decide on a date and location, we then work on coordinating outfits to have just the right look for each of the locations that were selected. For example, you wouldn’t want something very modern and bold if you were looking for that soft, rural look. So we work together to determine just the right look that we’re trying to capture to compliment the location.
Once we are at the session, we start out very simple and basic. Sitting poses. It’s a great way to start as the senior doesn’t have to feel too vulnerable about posing or question if they look ok…everyone knows how to sit in a nice, classic way, and we capture those basic go-to shots. Then once we get warmed up, we start moving into the more fun poses that can really show off a senior’s personality. I never want someone to feel uncomfortable or silly when they are being posed. We simply try to showcase your personality by bringing it out in a fun pose!
The location….this plays a big part in your portraits. I have several different locations that I like to use because I know that within that one location I can get several different looks within walking distance. I know sometimes clients think we need to travel to 3, 4, 5 different locations, but honestly, one location with different buildings/structure can create an entire gallery that looks as though it were shot in several different areas.
Once we wrap up with your session, within 2 weeks I will do a gallery viewing/ordering session in the client’s home. This helps as we can determine just the right sizes of beautiful portraits for the walls or look into designing a stunning album to show off all the images from your gallery! It’s a lot of fun, and everything is completely full service. Basically, I come to you for your ordering session and then I deliver your goodies! It’s an amazing experience that you don’t want to miss out on, so make sure to message me right away as available dates for the remainder of the year are extremely limited!
Enjoy the sneak peeks!
